Lessons at Four Willows

We start teaching at the young age of six all the way to adults.  We believe safety comes first.  We provide helmets.  Students need to wear pants and boots that will slide in and out of the stirrup easily.
We primarily teach saddleseat lessons and beginner western.  The breed of horse we show is the American Saddlebred.  Saddlebreds are known for their elegance and refinement.  They are tall slender horses that require a balanced rider.  In our lessons we teach a variety of balance exercises to build muscle memory and physical ability.  Our lessons are thirty minutes of exercise.  It is both aerobic and strength training.  Riding a horse at Four Willows gives you the oppurtunity to bond with a horse while getting in shape.  Students enjoy the social and laid back atmosphere of the barn.  Many adults use riding as a stress reliever.
Many parents say that children learn to focus while on the horse.  Riding horses at Four Willows can also be a confidence booster.
