Academy Riders at Four Willows
Our Academy Program at Four Willows Farm is where most lesson riders begin!  We offer lesson horses, most of them are former show horses, to teach our riders to compete at horse shows at the Academy level.

Academy riders compete at horse shows throughout the year including, for example; the Spring Warm-up at Cloverdale, Twin Rivers, Springfield Charity, Blue Ribbon Classic and many more!  Attire for Academy shows include black jodphurs, show vest, long sleeved shirt, tie, gloves and jodphur boots.  We can assist riders in finding the correct attire.

In addition to the larger shows mentioned above, if your child is just beginning their showing career we also visit Hartmeyer's Stable in Muncie, Indiana and Grandview Stables in Indianapolis, Indiana twice each during the winter season for their "Winter Tournaments"! If your child participates with these shows and then shows at the IASHA Spring Warm - Up in Cloverdale, Indiana they will receive a ribbon stating their placing within their age group. A great way to start for many of our beginning show riders!!

Our Academy riders can also lease a show horse and eventually transition to advanced classes and show levels at horse shows.

Academy riders are encouraged to join the Four Willows Show Club where they can enjoy discounts and receive a Four Willows Farm show jacket to wear at horse shows!
