Why take riding lessons?
Riding lessons are an amazing way to find a deep connection to one of the world's most spectacular animals; their talent and intelligence knows no bounds. And the American Saddlebred is absolutely no exception to that! Here at Four Willows we want to share this with you.

Riding lessons are a fantastic way to build up confidence, balance, trust, understanding, and respect in children. Along with building up an adults strength, stamina, and balance.

Contact us at (317) 727 - 8367 for more!

How long are lessons? And what kind of lessons do you give?
Our 30 minute lessons can be either in a private (one on one with instructor) or group (with other riders) setting. Depending on the level of riding you, or your child, are at will determine which type of lesson you will take; also depending on availability.
We do many different types of lessons, ranging from beginners in saddleseat and western to showing level lessons in saddleseat. We also give lunge lessons to help with balance and form.

My child is 4 years old and loves horses, can they take lessons?
Absolutely!! We have a wonderful saddle, called the "Double Saddle", that allows for the instructor to sit behind the child and the child can be protected / balanced with the instructor's arms around the child, all while the instructor still being in complete control of the horse.

Check out the video on our Facebook of our Assistant Instructor, Klaire, and rider, Emma, riding around the arena in the Double Saddle!

Here is Jen and one of our youngest riders doing a double saddle lesson! She's only 22 months old!!
